How do I know if I need a French drain?
If water stands in your yard for more than a day after rain, seeps into a basement or crawl space, washes out a driveway, or runs toward the house instead of away from it, a French drain or a combination of drainage grading and piping will usually solve it. We look at where the water comes from and where it can legally go, then build the simplest system that fixes it.
Is a drainage problem the same as a septic drain field problem?
